The next Family Engagement Professional Development will be held Wednesday, April 24th at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando. This will be the third part of our discussions with Jenni Brasington. A description of the day is below. Feel free to join us if you were unable to either of the previous sessions as this session will contain discussions and information that all will be able to use. We will again charge a fee of $145 per person in order to cover the costs for Ms. Brasington. The registration and payment links are below. The hotel link for the Florida Hotel (room rate of $129.00) will be provided as soon as possible. In the meantime, to assist with your travel arrangements, an agenda is below.
Phase 3: Sustaining the Work
Time: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
During this final session, participants will come together to share and showcase successful implementation practices, barriers to implementation and how best to measure program quality and impact. Participants will share how they’ve used the Essential Elements Rubric and Observation Tool and what they’ve learned about program implementation. Together we will explore process and perception data and how to measure. We will review examples of the following:
- Stakeholder surveys
- Pre/post surveys
- Self-assessment inventories
- Focus groups
- Portfolio assessments
Participants will also have time during the session to design and draft individualized assessment protocols.
Please note: Due to contractual obligations with the hotel, no refunds will be given after April, 17, 2019.
