ECTAC Director, Maria Longa reflects: “While the data brought these schools to our attention, their remarkable stories put them on this awards list. Join me in connecting in person with exceptional school leaders from across the state of Florida and learning from their journeys of success.”
The Exceeding Expectations Conference, scheduled from Wednesday, June 26, to Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, offers a unique venue for Award Schools and attendees to celebrate and share successful school improvement strategies. The event includes general sessions, breakout sessions where schools present their strategies, networking opportunities, and a reception where Award Schools are formally recognized for their exceptional achievements. All school districts in the state are invited to attend the E2 Conference to foster collaborative learning and knowledge-sharing among peers.
One former Award School recounted: “We were at your [ECTAC Exceeding Expectations] conference a few years ago, we brought back a few key strategies, knew we would be an Award School someday, and here we are!” while another attendee shared: “Wow! Such a motivating opportunity. Can't wait to get back to school to start some conversations. We will be back next year.”
